Deejay Vijay is a native of Berlin and has been playing in clubs since he was 18 years old. Back in the day he performed on a weekly basis at 90Grad in Schöneberg. This is now more than 15 years ago and with all of the changes Berlin has experienced since, Vijay says of his hometown: “Berlin is still the coolest city in the world. The party at Berghain is still going until Monday morning. And it’s still evolving and up and coming; now everybody wants to be in all the neighborhoods that nobody wanted to step foot in back in the day. This will continue on for quite a while.” Word.
